Oddly enough, it started with two things: cancer and oranges.
Sisters Nhu and My Le watched their mother survive cancer not once, but twice, prompting them to dive into the science of clean beauty. They wanted to empower the women they love to take on whatever life throws their way while also wearing clean, safe, and beautiful shades. Is there anything more powerful than true self expression?
That, and Nhu LOVES oranges.
She loves to eat them, she loves the color, and she wanted to wear it every day. After years trying to find the perfect orange lipstick, Nhu finally decided to make one herself. With the successful development of her new favorite, nourishing shade, she had a thought:
What if we could bring a unique art palette to the beauty world? One that was sustainable, vegan, and cruelty-free, but that also catered to all skin tones?
She knew that to make her dream come true, she needed her sister My by her side.

Today, Nhu and My work together to keep Finding Ferdinand’s vision alive. They collaborate with talented individuals, top-tier science teams, and each other to continually push the color palettes and boundaries of the beauty world with new tinted lip balms, tubing mascaras, and natural blushes. Their top creation? The Black Lip Balm.

Since the journey began, in true older sister fashion, Nhu has taken charge of the day-to-day activities. She’s all about growing the brand, dealing with the details, and putting a face to the name.
Meanwhile, My lends her talents to the creative direction, ensuring every photo, post, and campaign is aligned with the original Finding Ferdinand vision.
