This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information we collect or might, at a later date, collect on the Finding Ferdinand website (“Site”), how we may use that information and with whom we may share it. It does not govern any other information or communications that may reference Finding Ferdinand, e.g., communications from any current or future freestanding Finding Ferdinand stores, retailers or Finding Ferdinand counters. Information We Collect and How We Use It 

You may choose to provide us with personal information when you visit our Site. For example, if you decide to complete a user registration form or complete an online survey, or make a purchase, you may be asked to provide certain information such as your contact information (name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number) and optional information such as your age group, gender and product and/or cosmetic concerns, and the brands and products you use. We use this information to provide the service you requested. If you decide to place an order, we will also need to know your delivery and billing address, credit card number and expiration date or other form of payment information (including, but not limited to, PayPal or Venmo account). To help protect your personal information, users registering at the Site must also enter a user name/email address and password or other form of authentication (including, but not limited to, FaceBook Connect authorization). We may also invite you to provide information about your skincare concerns to enable us to provide you with customized service. 

Use of Personal Information by Finding Ferdinand

Marketing Communications 
With your consent, the information you provide may be used by Finding Ferdinand to create and deliver to you emails such as our newsletters, surveys or other email messages containing product and event information, cosmetics tips or promotions or to phone you. If you do consent to receive these communications and later decide that you would no longer like to receive them, then you may opt out at any time. You may receive the benefit of hearing from Finding Ferdinand via direct mail even if you have not elected to receive other marketing communications. If you do not wish to receive direct mail, then you may opt out at any time. 

Text Messages 
If you so elect and are the authorized account holder, you may provide your mobile phone number in order to receive periodic text message alerts containing product and event information, cosmetics tips or promotions ("Text Messages"). There is no fee from Finding Ferdinand to receive Text Messages, however, message and data rates may apply, and other standard applicable rates may be charged by your mobile service provider.

You acknowledge that Text Messages are distributed via third party mobile network providers and, therefore, we cannot control certain factors relating to message delivery. You acknowledge that, depending on the recipient's mobile provider service, it may not be possible to transmit the Text Message to the recipient successfully; nor is content available on all carriers. We do not claim or guarantee availability or performance of this service, including liability for transmission delays or message failures. To receive HELP with Text Messages, you can email info@findingferdinand.com. If you do elect to receive them and later decide that you would no longer like to receive these Text Messages, then you may opt out at any time.

Communications to Serve You 
If you have elected to provide us with your contact information, we may provide you with service related announcements by any means, including email, concerning the Site or contact you regarding your customer service requests or questions or your order. For example, all registered users will receive a welcoming email to confirm their registration. When you email our customer service department with a comment or question, we collect the personally identifiable information you provide us, such as your name, email address, contact information and any information relating to your comment or question, and may forward such information, along with your inquiry, to our affiliates in the United States in order to investigate and respond to your inquiry. These types of communications are necessary to serve you, respond to your concerns and to provide the high level of customer service that Finding Ferdinand offers its customers. 

Customized Service 
We may also offer features on our Site that invite you to provide information about your skin type and skincare concerns or preferences. We use this information to provide you with customized service and use of our Site. For example, we may suggest products that would be of particular interest to you.

Special Events, Questionnaires and Surveys 
On occasion, Finding Ferdinand may sponsor special events (such as, but not limited to, contests, promotions, parties or other offerings), questionnaires and surveys. When you enter a contest or participate in a promotion, we may collect your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We use this information to administer your participation in the contest or promotion. There may be specific rules applicable to these promotions that explain how any personal information you provide will be processed. We strongly suggest you review any applicable rules before participating. Group Companies may be located both inside and outside of the United States ( “US” ), Canada, and the European Union ( “EU” ).

We may retain other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf consistent with this Privacy Policy. Examples include data analysis firms, customer support specialists, email vendors, webhosting companies and fulfillment companies ( e.g. , companies that coordinate mailings). Such third parties may be provided with access to personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use or disclose such information other than on our behalf and in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law. 

In addition, in some instances, you may be offered the opportunity to consent to the sharing of your information with a third party such as an event or promotion co-sponsor. If you consent, we will share your information with such third party and the information you provide may be used by such third party for their own purposes and in accordance with their own policies.

All Group Companies, our affiliated companies and third parties that receive your personal information are required to honor the privacy representations made in this Privacy Policy, regardless of where they are located. 

Children Under 13 

If you are under thirteen years of age, you may browse our Site. However, you may not provide personal information to us. For example, you cannot register or make a purchase. This Site is not designed for persons under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a visitor under the age of thirteen on the Site, we will delete the information from our records.
